Haiti - Diplomacy : The President Martelly welcomes the re-election of Dilma Rousseff
In an official note, the President Michel Martelly has sent his warmest congratulations to the President of Brazil, Dilma Vana Rousseff, for her re-election Sunday, October 26, at the second round of presidential of this country of South America.

The Head of State took the opportunity to express its best wishes to Ms. Rousseff and reiterated on behalf of the Government and people of Haiti, its commitment to strengthen and consolidate the relations of friendship and cooperation that exist between Haiti and Brazil.


On the social networks, the Prime Minister, Laurent Lamothe joined the message of the Head of State "On behalf of the Haitian people, I congratulate Dilma Rousseff on her reelection as President of Brazil. [...] Long live our friendship with the Brazilian people. With the reelection of President Rousseff, our relationship will be strengthened."


Recall that Dilma Rousseff, candidate of the Workers Party, won the election with 51.64% of the vote against 48.36% for his opponent of the right center, Aécio Neves. A good news for Haiti, that is reassured by this election, on the continued support of Brazil to our country.
