Dieuseul Simon Desras, the President of the Senate strongly criticized the behavior of senators during the adjournment request of Commissioner Godson Orélus, Head of the National Police of Haiti for health reasons.

The Senator Desras that recognizes he had words against the Commissioner Orélus, criticized amonh others the Senator Moïse for his behavior and regretted the lack of humanity of his peers, who have held for nearly an hour, against his will, the Commissioner Godson submitting him to a real interrogation. The Senator Desras said regretted not having been there in time to prevent this sad spectacle, which has tarnished the image of the Senate.

Recall that last Tuesday, Godson Orélus convened by the Senate Committee "Justice and Security" evoking health problems, had told the Commission, "I have great respect for the Senate whom I am the son. This is why I come to seek another postponement of the meeting."

A respect obviously not shared by very annoyed senators, who submitted the to a real flood of questions through which, the Senator Moïse has copiously insulted the Chief of Police, calling him among other of "puppet of the executive" and "vagabond", "nasty", "man without shame," accusing Orélus Godson, of having attended a meeting aimed to assassinate him with "deadly gas".

Despite a call to order by Senator Pierre Francky Exius, the President of the Commission, nothing could calm the anger of Senator Moïse and the Commissioner Orélus had great difficulty to finally leave the Senate.
