Haiti - Politic : Towards a strengthening of social programs
On Wednesday, Prime Minister, Laurent Lamothe, held a major working meeting to assess the various government social programs and develop new strategies to continue coordination efforts on the ground for the most vulnerable strata of the population.

The meeting, attended by several ministers, Directors General and other senior civil servants of the state, was an opportunity for the Head of Government to review the various social projects of the Government "We want people's priorities are expressed through public spending. We also want to ensure that public funds are for the benefit of traditionally excluded strata of the population. We are conducting a genuine policy of inclusion," affirmed the Prime Minister.



Laurent Lamothe announced that the National Plan for Social Assistance "Ede-Pèp", the ommunity restaurants and the Universal Schooling Program Free and Compulsory (PSUGO) will be strengthened to ensure the preferential option for the poorest.
