Haiti - France : Entrepreneurs and investors on mission in Haiti
A few weeks after the meeting held May 5 at the headquarters of the Movement of Enterprises of France (Mouvement des Entreprises de France MEDEF) in Paris on the reconstruction in Haiti, a delegation of French entrepreneurs and investors led by M.Hugues-Arnaud Mayer, Vice President of MEDEF will visit Haiti from September 26 to 30.

The delegation during its stay, will meet among others:

  • principal Haitian public decision makers in charge of the implementation of the reconstruction projects,
  • Prime Minister Jean-Max Bellerive
  • international organizations and development banks that play a central role in financing projects
  • private sector representatives and key business leaders Haitian (Economic forum of the Private sector) with which potential partnerships will be forged.

The ambition to rebuild the country in a sustainable way has uncovered needs and projects in various sectors: infrastructure (ports, roads, energy, etc.), housing construction, technical assistance and training, health and education, strengthening the agricultural sector (livestock, fruits), development of clusters of industrial processing and services outside the capital, among others.

Will take part in this delegation: company heads representing the various sectors concerned as well as investors present on the market of the integration of multi-techniques solutions and the support at the companies with the international one.

MEDEF hopes that this mission will make it possible to lead to relations and partnerships economic and commercial already established and will make it possible to develop a new current of business between the French and Haitian companies.
