The army, together with agents of "Cuerpo Especializado de Seguridad Fronteriza" (CESFRONT), in support of the Dominican National Police, was deployed among other in the parks Duarte, Juan Luis Franco Bidó and on the streets: 27 de Febrero, Capotillo, Duarte, Benito Mención.

The increasing number of our countrymen that daily illegally entering in the Dominican Republic, is probably not unrelated to these measures, even if the Dominican authorities have not mentioned that explicitly, in this militarization of the area.
