Haiti - Diaspora : More than 600 turkeys distributed to the Miami Haitian Community

Last Saturday, Consul General of Haiti in Miami, Stéphane Gilles, in the presence among others of Reverend Father Réginald Jean-Marie and Dr. Rudy Moïse proceeded to the distribution of over 600 turkeys to his compatriots of Miami and its surroundings on the occasion of the Thanksgiving.

Accompanied by executives of the Consulate General of Haiti in Miami, the Consul Stéphane Gilles, welcomed the full success of this day of solidarity for the compatriots of Miami, the latter is in straight line with the vision of the Government Martelly/Lamothe to move towards the Haitian diaspora community by providing quality service and within the framework of the proximity policy established by the Consulate General of Haiti in Miami.

This distribution, which was held at the Catholic Church of Our Lady, Little Haiti was also an opportunity for Gilles Consul to inquire about the urgent needs of his countrymen eager to return the country to contribute to the socio-economic development of Haiti and thank Father Réginald Jean-Marie for its support to this event.
