The group said not to be a political platform, but could in the future become a major political platform of the opposition. Overall these entities agree on the continuation in power of President Martelly until the end of his term, but accrding to them the Prime Minister Laurent Lamothe and the Government ministers have to leave in favor of a consensus government. Then comes the holding of elections at the beginning of 2015. Regarding the CEP the group has not yet established opinion.

Moreover, these political organizations say they are concerned by the possibility for the president to run the country by "decree, outside of all constitutional requirements and of the representative democracy requiring the existence and balance of three powers of the State," while also beingconcerned about the risk of legislative vacuum at Haitian Parliament on 12 January 2015.

"Driven by the desire to find a political compromise acceptable for all in order to create a climate conducive to the holding of credible, free, fair, inclusive and democratic for the renewal of political staff have decided, while remaining open to other political structures concerned like us by this crisis that threatens to undermine the very foundations of democracy, to find ourselves in order to offer the Haitian nation a possible solution that could spare the country the macabre specter of January 12, 2015 to preserve the democratic gains and foster the conditions for peace, harmony and security essential to the welfare of the Haitian people," wrote these organizations in a statement.
