On Tuesday, members of the opposition of Bloc of Democratic Opposition (BOD) [Affiliated to MOPOD], joined by supporters of the Joint Front for the Liberation (FML) continued relentlessly their protest.

They are in their 34th demonstrations and always require the installation of a new municipal cartel, the departure of the Government Commissioner, Me Jean Alix Civil and since a few days they have added to their demands the departure of President Martelly.

Nearly a thousand demonstrators walked in the city center of Petit Goâve, chanting some very hostile and saucy against the Deputy Jacques Stevenson Thimoléon. New fact, the demonstrators passed without encountering any resistance in some neighborhoods such as Belle Avenue, Chabanne, Ti Guinin Place Soulouque, known as strongholds of Deputy Thimoléon.

Unfortunately, the demonstration ended as usual in violence and the police had to disperse the crowd after stones were thrown against the police force.

Throughout the week, the demonstration will continue non-stop in Petit-Goâve.
