Wednesday, the Prime Minister resigned, Laurent Lamothe paid a courtesy visit to the Ministry of Economy and Finances (MEF). He took the opportunity to organize a brief working session with Marie Carmelle Jean-Marie, Minister of Finance, the Secretary of State Ronald Décembre and the Directors General of the MEF, of the General Administration of Customs (AGD), the Directorate General of Taxes (DGI) and the of Treasury...

There has been talk of major projects that will have an impact on the economic development, including the payment of the debtof the EDH by the local authority and the Investment Fund, of more than $100 million of French Group Lazart to be launched in January 2015.

The Minister for Finance said he would like to remain in office in the new government "[...] just to make sure that these projects do not die."

Following this visit, the Prime Minister Lamothe did a few pictures with his former colleagues, as he had done the day before at the Primature.
