As part of the celebration of the 211th anniversary of the independence of Haiti, His Majesty King Mohammed VI sent a congratulatory message to President Michel Martelly.

In this message, the King of Morocco, expressed his warm congratulations and best wishes for health and happiness to President Martelly and further progress and prosperity to the friendly people of Haiti.

In that commemoration day, the Sovereign ensures the Head of State of Haiti of its determination to continue to work in concert with him to the strengthening of friendship ties, of cooperation and solidarity between the two countries for the benefit of the two friendly peoples and the strengthening of cooperation between the Kingdom of Morocco and the countries of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM).
