Haiti - Social : «Pitye pou Ayiti, Papa» Joël Lorquet pays tribute to victims of January 12, 2010
The artist Joël Lorquet presents to the public his song "Pitye pou Ayiti, Papa" written Sunday, January 17, 2010 less than a week after the earthquake of 12 January 2010, in tribute to the more than 200,000 victims of this terrible tragedy.
Joël Lorquet encourages all musicians to write patriotic texts in order to educate fellow Haitians on the reality of the problems in Haiti. Joel hopes to make the public and Haiti's leaders aware of these problems, to help Haiti and the international community more effective, and to prevent more mistakes. Through making the public and national leaders aware of these problems, Joel hopes that we can envision a more positive future as in developed countries.
