Haiti - Politic : Installation of the new Minister of Planning
Tuesday, Jacques Rousseau, Minister of Public Works, Transport and Communications, in the presence of Secretaries of State Michel Présumé (planning), Robert Labrousse (External Cooperation), Henry Robert Sterlin (Foreign Affairs) and Ms Ann-Valerie Timothy Milford, Head of Cabinet of the President of the Republic and of Secretary General of the Council of Ministers, Enex Jean Charles, proceeded during a ceremony at the installation in its functions, of Yves Germain Joseph (former Secretary General of the Presidency), promoted to Minister of Planning and External Cooperation (MPCE).

During his speech, the Minister Rousseau stressed that the new holder of MPCE was a real model that had passed all stages in the Haitian government "is someone who is very serious, very competent and with a sense of responsibility."

In his speech for the occasion, the new Minister stated "I am coming to the Ministry of Planning and External Cooperation, at a particular time of the Haitian political life where I need to redirect the actions to be taken, strengthen governance and consolidate the gains, according to the guidelines of the President of the Republic, HE Mr. Michel Joseph Martelly and Prime Minister Evans Paul."
