Haiti - Brazil : Celso Amorim comes to conclude a series of partnerships
During his stay, 
Celso Amorim, the Brazilian Minister for the foreign affairs will meet the President of Haiti, René Préval, Prime Minister Jean-Max Bellerive, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Marie-Michèle Rey and Edmond Mulet, Special Representative of the UN and the General Paul Luiz Guilherme Cruz, military commander of the UN Mission for Stabilization in Haiti (MINUSTAH).

On the agenda, the Chancellor will propose building a hydroelectric dam in the Artibonite, elaborated by Brazil. A project in partnership with Cuba for the construction of emergency clinics and staff training in the field of health. The Chancellor will also offer 500 scholarships for Haitian students come to study in Brazil. The goal is that students finish their studies without having to wait for the reconstruction of institutions where they were enrolled. He finally submit a project for the production of school meals.
