Friday, after their installation https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-13019-haiti-elections-swearing-and-installation-of-cep-members.html , the 9 members of the Provisional Electoral Council have wasted no time and made their first working session. Following the installation of the new Board, the bureau of CEP was formed, informed Me Moster Georges, the Executive Director of the electoral body.
Composition of bureau of the CEP :
The presidency was given to Pierre-Louis Opont (Employers Sector) [former Director General of the CEP, during the last elections under Gaillot Dorsinvil] ; the Vice-Presidency to Pierre Manigat Jr. (Press sector) ; Secretary, Vijonet Demero (Reformed Worship sector) and Treasurer Ricardo Augustine (Episcopal Conference).
