Haiti - Sports : The Inter-school football championship on track
Jimmy Albert, the Minister of Youth, Sports and Civic Action (MJSAC), met the leaders of Western sports facilities and Patrick Lazarus the Representative of the Ministry of National Education, on the technical aspects and condition of lands which must host the next inter-school football championship of the department which will take place from 6 to 19 March.

Park St. Therese of Petionville, the Park of the Youth of Cabaret and Anglade Park of Petit-Goâve, the Sylvio Cator Stadium, the sports centers Dadadou and of Carrefour, have been selected to host the encounters of the 32 high schools and private schools who will take part in this championship reserved for less than 20 years. The various land were chosen based on their proximity to the participating schools.

The materials and equipment necessary for the organization of the Championship will be the responsibility of MJSAC and safety of the competition will be provided by the National Police of Haiti (PNH).

The issue of salary arrears of sports instructors the West Department was also mentioned at this meeting and the Minister Albert, promised to meet those concerned to study with them ways to solve the problem.
