Haiti - FLASH : A Haitian beaten aftear having burned the Dominican flag
This Friday morning, as the tension between the two nations on the island is at its highest level following the act of aggression of the Dominican Consulate in Pétion-ville https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-13260-haiti-social-the-haitian-flag-waving-on-the-dominican-consulate.html , a Haitian was beaten and arrested, after having burned the Dominican flag in the sector La Otra Banda de Santiago.

The Haitian, identified as Johnny Pie, approximately 24, who burned the Dominican flag and was immediately severely beaten by a group of Dominicans, who then took him to the police detachment of the city. Later he was taken to the courthouse where he received coercive measures.

The inhabitants of the Otra Banda, expressed their outrage at the insult to the national flag that was burnt on the day of the celebration of the 171st anniversary of national independence.
