Haiti - Culture : Exhibition of paintings at the Marriott Hotel
Friday, March 6, as part of the commemoration of International Women's Day, shilou Jean (Fort National), Walgens Pierre Jean (Caridad), Widlaine Joseph (Fort Mercredi), Patrick Lafontant (Carrefour), Lorvens Lovens (Cité Soleil), Marie-Dominique Louissaint (Cité Soleil), Jimmy Maxon (Cité Neuf), Marie Scheila Victorin (Carrefour-Feuilles), 8 painters of the movement "Kalfou Richès" will expose forty works, highlighting the courage and determination of the Haitian women, who have never ceased to make contributions to the country's social economy.

The forty tables produced by these young creators, coming of the three paint currents developed within the movement "Kalfou Richès" : Atelier Folie Ouverte, Atelier Sixième sens et Atelier l'Aurore, mettent l'emphase sur l'importance de la femme au sein du secteur économique et social de la société haïtienne. Madness Open Workshop, Workshop Sixth Sense and Workshop of the Dawn, emphasize the importance of women in the economic and social sectors of Haitian society.



These works will be exhibited, Friday, March 6 to Sunday 8, 2015 in Room "Kowosòl" of the Marriott Hotel, located at 147 Avenue Jean Paul II, in Turgeau.
