Haiti - Environment : Petion-ville fight against unsanitary

The Town Hall of Petion-ville apologizes to residents of the town for the recorded state of manifest unhealthyregistered in some places, especially in the city center.

The Town Hall explained that this situation is caused by the unavailability of 3 dump trucks responsible for garbage collection, but also dishonest behavior of some unidentified individuals who intentionally create inappropriate dumps.

In order to solve this situation, the Town Hall of Petion-ville with the support of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) put into circulation tricycles responsible for sanitation of streets throughout the day and this continuously.

Pending the implementation of the new policy of the municipal administration for roads, Yvanka Jolicoeur Brutus, the Mayor of Petion-ville, reiterated to residents, its commitment to keep the city clean.
