Saturday afternoon, the lifeless body of a Haitian aged

approximately 25 years old, was found with traces of violence, in the basement of an abandoned building in the Del Sol street in Santiago, Dominican Republic.

The body was removed in the afternoon by a forensic doctor, members of the Public Ministry and of the scientific police, which collected evidence "This person has a head injury on the left side and so far the mobile crime is unknown," declared the Prosecutor Nelson Cabrera as he left the scene. According to the coroner, death goes back 12 to 16 hours before the gruesome discovery. The victim was transferred to the National Institute of Forensic Science (INACIF) for autopsy.

Private security guards who work in the area, reported a violent fight with stones and bottles Thursday night between a group of Haitians, who lives in the basement of the building, where the victim was found.

Dominican Police investigators are looking at other Haitian residing in this place, to gather evidence and find out what happened.
