Haiti - Politic : Evans Paul touring the Northeast
Friday, as part of the celebration of St. Joseph, patron saint of Fort Liberté, Prime Minister Evans Paul, paid a visit to the towns of Fort-Liberté and Ouanaminthe of the Northeast department.

The tour of the Prime Minister began with his participation in the solemn Mass at St. Joseph's Cathedral, celebrated by the Bishop of Fort-Liberté, Mgr Alphonse Kesnel. Invited to address the audience of the faithful, the Head of Government has committed to provide Fort-Liberté and Ouanaminthe inhabitants a better distribution of power before the Easter period, while urging customers of the region to fulfill their duties, by paying their bill to the power company.

The Prime Minister then met with the notables of the city of Fort Liberté to better inquire about the priorities of the commune, that may constitute a real pole of development for the country to this end, he asked the population to present the different needs of the city through an integrated development plan "With its agricultural potential, the Northeast can help us to largely solve the problem of food insecurity that confronts the country for a very long time."

Shortly after, Evans Paul accompanied by members of his delegation visited the town of Ouanaminthe, where he visited the park of the Industrial Development Company (CODEVI) which employs more than 7,000 Haitians "We want to meet our citizens who work there, to inform us about what they do and how we can help them, "promising that he will continue to work with the leaders of CODEVI for implementation as soon as possible, a restaurant for them.
