Wednesday, Pierre-Richard Casimir, the Minister of Justice and Public Security (MJSP) in the presence, among others of Me. Jean Roudy Aly, Director General of the Ministry, Godson Orélus, Director General of the National Police of Haiti (PNH), Pierre Richard Duplan, President of the Municipal Council of Port-au-Prince and the Chief of Staff of the Minister Dr. Pierre Jean Claudy, proceeded with the installation of Hadrian Cyril Woel as the new Secretary of State for Public Security, replacing Colonel Pierre Estanislas Cantave Neptune [12 months in office], named Coordinator of the National Council for the Fight against Drugs (CONALD).

In his remarks for the occasion, the Minister Casimir reminded the new Secretary of State the complexity of the task ahead, particularly due to the launch of the electoral process. He asked the Director General of the PNH, to cooperate fully with the new Secretary of State "in order to create synergy conducive to maintaining a secure environment throughout the territory."

For his part, the new Secretary of State, Hadrian Cyril Woel affirmed his willingness to work ceaselessly with all the authorities involved in the area of public safety and promised to get to work quickly in order to bring concrete results for the benefit of the population.
