Haiti - Diplomacy : The President Martelly shocked by the carnage perpetrated in Kenya

In a note, dated Friday, President Michel Joseph Martelly, said he learned with dismay the hostage-taking followed by the carnage that occurred Thursday, April 2, 2015 at the University of Garissa in Kenya, who made 148 deaths (142 students, three police officers and 3 soldiers) and 104 wounded.

"The President of the Republic, who is deeply shocked by this tragedy, presents its heartfelt sympathies to the families and friends of all the victims of this barbaric act, as well as to the Government and the valiant people of Kenya so badly affected by this act of blind intolerance."
