Haiti - Politic : Easter message from the Government Martelly-Paul
In his message for Easter the Government Martelly-Paul recalled that "Easter Feast is a special and sacred period for millions of Haitians. On this particular occasion, the Government and the Prime Minister, are pleased to join the Haitian Christians, from both inside and outside, to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ and the promise of hope of Easter.

We remember the historical sacrifice of Jesus, bringing to follow his example by promoting the culture of 'living together', the manifestation of solidarity, while urging every Haitian, each Haitian to keep in his heart a deep and abiding compassion for his fellow.

The Government invite you all to take advantage of this period to observe a moment of spiritual meditation and patriotic reflection so that together we lead the country towards good elections to ensure social cohesion necessary for our legitimate hopes of wellness.

Let's celebrate the resurrection of Christ, in civic engagement for the renovation of our beloved homeland Haiti and of world, this for our prosperity and that of all humanity.

Happy Easter to you and may God bless Haiti !"
