Bureau North of the MTIC, Dieudonne E. Luma, the Regional Director North of Ministry of Tourism informed of her layoff due to her candidacy to the position of Senator of North.

Reduction of approved political entities

The number of political entities goes from 126 to 129 :

While the reduction of political entities is desired by many, Philippe Augustin, the Director of the Electoral Register explained that after the grouping of 40 political parties 126 numbers had been assigned by andom draw but that 3 parties having withdrew in the consolidation, 3 other 3 numbers have been assigned, bringing the total number of entities authorized to date to 129 !
