Haiti - Politic : Tour of President Martelly in the North
Thursday, the President Martelly was on tour in the north, to inquire about the progress of the work of several projects. He walked to the Professional School of Milot, whose the work funded by the Haitian government to the tune of 737.000 US dollars (737,448.37) will include six training courses including language laboratory and training in Tourist Guide.

He then visited the Professional School of Cap-Haitien to assess the progress of the rehabilitation and expansion work, funded by the Caribbean Development Bank, to the tune of $ 2.2 million (2,215.255.22). Once completed, the school will accommodate 700 students per session, will offer 10 training courses including electricity, auto mechanics, electronics and computer.

Taking advantage of his visit to the new Professional center of Cap-Haitien, the President Martelly met masons who receive extensive training in earthquake-resistant construction. The 20 masons in training in Milot and the 40 other in the two training centers housed in the brand new premises, reserved him a warm welcome. He took the opportunity to respond to the main complaint of learners, namely their future involvement in major projects of the state.



Later, he visited the new premises of the Departmental Directorate of Taxes (DDI) from north to Cap-Haitien, funded by the Treasury to the tune of 20 million gourdes (20,186.686.52) "Leta se ou menm, se mwen menm, se nou tout. By late afternoon he went on Place Notre Dame du Cap-Haitien for the inauguration of its rehabilitation and the unveiling of a plaque. The Place Notre Dame of Cap-Haitien, newly renovated, is located in front of the Cathedral of Cap between the streets F and H, including the statue of Dessalines, a fountain, 200m2 of space with play equipment, paved walkways, areas of relaxation equipped with 23 benches, spaces lined with decorative plants and 25 garbage cans.

Before a large crowd, the Head of State launched the credit program to Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) explaining that "the program aims to make funding available to the poorest sections of the population. The objective is to facilitate the creation of sustainable jobs through entrepreneurship strategy. This loan program will also facilitate the creation of new limited companies in the country."

Concluding his tour, the President Martelly took the opportunity to talk about the elections and encourage people to vote for the right people "Si jodia nou ka konstate chanjman sa yo nan Okap se paske nou te chwazi vote lidè kap panse pou pèp la.
