In a note the CEP explains "The Provisional Electoral Council, in sake of transparency and fairness, informs the general public, political parties and candidates concerned in particular that at the time of publication of the list of registered to legislative https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-13697-haiti-flash-list-of-all-candidates-registered-for-legislative.html , the candidates listed below, registered at the last moment, were not included on this list, for reasons of verification of the registration time. In retrospect, it turned out that it was a technical problem at the time of registration and the necessary corrections have been made.  Moreover, for the Department of Artibonite, the following candidates have also been subject to verification by the computer system for the same reasons.  The total number of registered candidates, to date is therefore 2,039 instead of 2,029 The Provisional Electoral Council reiterates its determination to do everything possible to hold fair elections, inclusive and democratic."
