Haiti - Diplomacy : The new Chancellor of Haiti met his Dominican counterpart 07/05/2015 13:17:18
The meeting allowed to take stock of the work done by the two countries through the bilateral agenda in order to ensure the continuity of the process initiated by the previous Chancellor of Haiti, Duly Brutus. Furthermore he confirmed to his counterpart that the Government of President Martelly working on the resolution of the passport booklet production problem awaiting deliverance for Haitians living in the Dominican Republic. Recognizing that this delay had hampered the implementation of the Haitian responsibilities to Haitian nationals who wish to enroll in the National Plan for the Regularization of Foreigners (PNRE) implemented by the Dominican Republic "We are working with the purpose of issuing the document as soon as possible to Haitians who have submitted a registration application to PNRE."
