Me Newton leaves the Platform "JISTIS"
Me Newton Louis St. Juste in a letter addressed to Jean Nazaire Thide, Coordinator of the Platform "JISTIS" "[...] takes note of the silence even contempt displayed by the Management of the Platform JISTIS following its two correspondences dated 4 and 8 May 2015 requesting the implementation of democratic and transparent mechanisms provided by the Statutes of the Grouping JISTIS," in order to rule on his candidacy, and if appropriate, the application of practices for the nomination of candidates of the Platform JISTIS. In a press release, the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP), informs the general public and candidates in particular, given the persistent demand of the political parties and groups it was decided that :

"1) The time allowed to complete the online pre-registration for the municipal and local elections was extended until Saturday, May 30, 2015;

2) The filing of the documents at the level of all BEC of country will resume Wednesday, May 20 and will end on Monday, June 1, 2015;

3) Candidates for the presidency can already make the deposit of their application to the BED West I until May 20, 2015"
