24 hours before the deadline of this Wednesday, May 20 at midnight, 56 presidential candidates have pre-registered online. As of Tuesday, a total of 24 candidates had submitted the required documents to the BED Ouest 1.

Yesterday, at least 13 candidates filed their record among others : Thierry Mayard Paul under the banner of the Union Nationale des Démocrates Haïtiens (UNDH) ; René Julien of the Action démocratique pour bâtir Haïti (ADEBHA) ; Jude Célestin under the banner of the Ligue Alternative pour le Progrès & L'Emancipation Haïtienne (L A P E H) ; Me André Michel for the Platform "JISTIS" https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-13893-haiti-news-electoral-zapping.html ; Mario Andresol as an independent candidate ; Clarens Renois for the Union nationale pour l’Intégrité et la Réconciliation (UNIR) https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-13912-haiti-news-electoral-zapping.html ; Me Samuel Madistin of MOPOD ; Maryse Narcisse, of Fanmi Lavalas.

Besides these candidates, among those already registered include : Jacky Lumarque (VERITE) ; the Senator Westner Polycarpe (MRA), the delegate of West Gonzague Day (PATRAYIL) ; Sauveur Pierre-Etienne (OPL) ; the Senator Steven Benoît (CONVICTION) ; Joseph Harry Bretous (KAPO) ; Pastor Jean Rénold Bazin (MOCHRENAH) ; Jacques Sampeur (KLE) ; former Major Gérald Dalvius (Alternative pour le développement d’Haïti), Kesler Dalmacy (MOPANOU) and Pastor Joseph Maxo (Rendez-vous).

Moïse Jean-Charles, the official candidate chosen by the leaders of the platform "Pitit Desalin" should proceed this Wednesday at 10:00 am to the filing of his documents.

32 other candidates for the presidency pre-registered, have until midnight on Wednesday to make the deposit of their documents.
