A Haitian family living in the community of Hatillo in the city of Jarabacoa in the Dominican Republic reported the disappearance of his younger son, Adrien Joniel, 12, born in Ouanaminthe, Haiti.

Adrien Joniel lived in the province of La Vega with a niece of Chuspeta Sendlúm, the mother of the missing child. The mother explained that her niece had told her that her son "had decided to go with a supposed trucker of Dominican nationality to the town of Dajabón where he wanted to cross in Haiti."

"For the past 12 days we have no news of my son and we do not know where he is, we are very worried."
