Friday at the Royal Oasis hotel, Ronald Décembre, the Secretary of State for Finance accompanied by Clovis Noël, the Director of the General Administration of Customs (AGD), attended, the graduation ceremony of the 2nd promotion of Customs Control Agents, composed of 124 new agents.

The training of these young people is part the efforts made by the Government to strengthen and support the AGD's fight against smuggling, essential to the increase in customs revenue.

"This second promotion will have for responsibility and dedication to intervene for a proper functioning of customs supervision in the following frameworks: respect of tax revenue, the fight against fraud, surveillance of customs offices and customs posts, protection of the environment, identification and the fight against fraud, " specified the Secretary of State Décembre urging new agents to show patriotism and professionalism in the performance of their duties.
