Me André Michel request the exclusion of Laurent Lamothe

Moïse wants a change in the electoral timetable

11,709 candidates in territorial elections

Frantz Bernadin, the spokesman of the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) reported that for local authorities, 11,709 candidates had already deposited their documents : 2,346 for municipal, 4,224 for the Boards of Directors of the Communal Sections (ASEC), 3,929 for the Boards of Communal Sections (CASEC) and 1,210 for city delegates.

Sit-in in front of the CEP in favor of Lamothe

On Wednesday, supporters of Laurent Lamothe, organized a sit-in outside the headquarters of the CEP to warn against any idea of rejecting his candidacy. Demonstrators points to certain sectors which would exert pressure on the Electoral Council says that there can not have election without Laurent Lamothe.
