Haiti - Elections : Mayor of Delmas received his certificate of discharge

Saturday, the Mayor of Delmas, Wilson Jeudy said he received his certificate of discharge adding "Travay mwen poko fini nan Delmas."

This certificate dated May 29, 2015, signed by Robert Fritz St Paul, President of CSC/CA states that "The Superior Court of Auditors and Administrative Disputes (CSC/CA) certifies that it grants full discharge of its management to Mr. Wilson Jeudy, Principal Mayor of the Municipality of Delmas [...] as well as deputy mayors and other accounting of public funds of the said town hall for the period from October 2012 to March 2015.

This decision follows the order of quietus, released Friday, May 29, 2015 by the Chamber of financial affairs [...]"

Recall that last Thursday in middle of day, supporters of the outgoing mayor of Delmas, Wilson Jeudy, had demonstrated with violence in Delmas https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-14035-haiti-news-electoral-zapping.html to demand that the CSA/CA, grant him discharge for its management for its inclusion in the forthcoming local elections. Barricades of burning tires were erected between Delmas 31 and Delmas 32 by the protesters.

Recall that Wilson Jeudy, elected in 2006 is left in position by the Martelly administration, has indicated its intention to run for another term as mayor of Delmas.
