Haiti - Politic : Celebration of the World Day of Public Service

Tuesday at the Hotel Montana, from 9:00 am to 13:00 pm, the Office of Management and Human Resources (OMRH), together with the ministries and organisms of the central administration of the State, will celebrate for the second year, the World Day of Public Service (Enacted by the United Nations in 2003) around the theme "For a public service at the service of the public," under the leadership Prime Minister Evans Paul.

Note that Monday, June 22, will be celebrated the feast of civil servants in ministries and government agencies in order to encourage innovation and excellence in public service. This day will be characterized by sectoral events in which each entity will take time to its staff by granting for example plaque of honor to those who will be judged best. The day of 23, will be characterized by a general meeting where public servants from all state institutions will attend an official ceremony, during which will intervene among others : the Head of State and Head of Government.

The Office of Management and Human Resources invits the agents of the Public Service of State and Territorial, to celebrate this day to express their commitment, pride in being part of a public service firmly committed to the path of change.

Through this initiative, the OMRH tends to sensitize governments on the need to give greater attention to human resources and take all measures to permanently institutionalize the International Day of public servants in our administrative culture.
