Haiti - Senegal : Assistance Mission to the Haitian administrators
Led by Elhadj Malick Diop, a deputy of the National Assembly and mayor of Tivaouane, a Senegalese mission of capacities reinforcement of the local administrators should go to Haiti from October 25th to 30th next.

This mission initiated by the Centre for Development Research Centre (Centre de recherches pour le développement international CRDI), a Crown corporation governed by a Board of Governors composed of 21 members from various countries, reporting to the Parliament of Canada through the Minister of Foreign Affairs in collaboration with local Senegalese will be composed of researchers and government officials of the senegalese administration.

CRDI intends to contribute in the reconstruction of Haiti, as part of its program "Community observatory of follow-up poverty".

Mayor of Tivaouane hope during his stay, establish partnership relations in light of a match between his community and the city of Port-au-Prince. One way he said to strengthen the approach of President Abdoulaye Wade in the rapprochement between the two countries.
