SIGES is a free, open source, available in French, Haitian Creole, and English. It is customizable to suit the schools: primary and secondary; professional and technical; private and public; in urban and rural areas, the school networks, sponsorship organizations, educational projects, etc... If the use of new technologies in school management is an asset, the implementation of the systems on the Haitian market currently remains very expensive and limits users by binding and licensing agreements preventing many educational institutions to computerize.
