On Wednesday, Prime Minister Evans Paul accompanied by Pierre Louis Opont, the President of the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP), Jean Fritz Jean Louis, the Minister Delegate to the Prime Minister Responsible for Electoral Matters and Watson Denis, International Relations Advisor to the Prime Minister, left the country to New York to participate in the United Nations Headquarters in a meeting of countries Friends of Haiti, in support to the ongoing electoral process.

Prime Minister Paul will use his stay to meet with groups of compatriots living in New York.

In the absence of the Prime Minister, the interim to the Primature will be provided Jude Hervey Day, Minister of Trade and Industry.

The Prime Minister will return to Haiti in the coming weekend.
