A group of members of Fanmi Lavalas, led by Euvonie Auguste, Jacques Mathelier and Rene Civil, board members of Fanmi Lavalas, announced yesterday its decision to support the candidacy of lawyer Jean Henry Céant "Renmen Ayiti" in the context of presidential elections.

Euvonie Augustus vodoo priestess, said that although the organization of former President Jean Bertrand Aristide is excluded from the electoral process, its members and supporters have made the smart choice to enter the electoral process to prevent the process of selection as the power set up. Jacques Mathelier, former Deputy of South Depatment, for his part said that it is necessary not to leave the field open to power, at the failure of the current Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) to organize free elections, honest, credible and democratic.

Rene Civil, a former leader of JPP, denounced for his "team lawless, who wants to seize power." He calls people to teach them a lesson of democracy. The support group is knowing that there are thousands and thousands of Lavalas members Fammi who want to make the road with the notary Jean Henry Céant.

Recall that the electorate of Fanmi Lavalas is fragmented since the forced departure of Aristide, and each platform, each party and each candidate from the "matrix Lavalas" is now trying to profit, the former President Aristide exile in South Africa, has not reacted so far on the election campaign underway.
