Haiti - Politic : Towards of National Assizes of Sports
This week, in the Annex to the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Civic Action (MJSAC) to Frères leaders of federations and national sports associations have validated the document "Project of National Assizes of Sports in Haiti", an initiative whose preparation works started after the" Great March of Youth and Sport" on 15 March.

After several months of discussions, representatives of sports federations and MJSAC executives have agreed on the project elaborated, in a participatory dynamics, to guide future national debates on Sport. The document specifies the objectives, the conceptual framework of the approach, structure, management mechanisms, the support committees and the schedule of Assizes called to revolutionize the sport in Haiti.

19 leaders of sports federations and associations present said "yes" to the working document that will guide the process of organizing the Assizes. Moreover, leaders of sporting disciplines practiced in Haiti, have given their support to this project whose the document will be submitted to other national sectors and institutions of civil society organizations, schools, universities, production boards and other major institutions of the Haitian Society for comment.

The Minister Jimmy Albert described the project as a "giant step" towards the development in 2015 and the policy of the "Legal Framework" to serve the planning, the orientation, the management and practice of sport in Haiti.
