Haiti - Security : Electoral violence, RNDDH sounds the alarm
Since the official start of the electoral campaign on July 9, various candidates, supporters and sympathizers beyond the framework of "fair play" and clash, making use of a leading language and attack each other's dignity... As to the approach of the poll of 9 August, the verbal clashes turned into physical attacks, assassinations and various attacks.

Faced with this alarming situation, the Defense National Network of Human Rights (RNDDH) is sounding the alarm bell and is made the duty to share with all those interested in the issue, some information collected in different departments of the country, relating to acts of pre-election violence and which deserve a special attention of the authorities.

Thus, during the period from 9 July to 2 August 2015, the RNDDH investigated in detail on 9 armed clashes, 5 murders and 2 attempts, 7 bullet wounds, two injured by knives, 17 injured with stones and 10 cases of beating.
