Good start for Kalfou Richès

Saturday Kalfou Richès received at its booth in the village of Grand Market to the square Pétion (Champ de Mars) for the first day, more than 250 visitors.

Recall that Kalfou Richès participating in Carifesta XII with over 750 pictorial creations as well as artisanal products to express Haiti with beauty and passion. Kalfou Richès invites all sectors promoters of the popular cultural expression to come appreciate the creation of forty artists to the area of the village Ilot J 73-74 Grand Market, Square Pétion, Champ de Mars.

Talented disabled artists and craftsmen

As part of Carifesta XII, the Office of the Secretary of State (Gérad Oriol Jr.) for the Integration of Persons with Disabilities, presented on its stand at the Grand Market, works made by artists and craftsmen suffering from a disability among others: sandals manufactured by the Union of Women with Reduced Mobility; wooden objects produced by the children of Monfort Institute for Children; dresses made by the Organization of the rights of Deaf and Dumb and skirts painted by the children and youth of Haiti Foyer D'Amour... Saturday evening, the delegation of the Bahamas was warmly welcomed during their inaugural performance in Petion-ville.
