Haiti - Dominican Republic : 84,000 foreigners already regularized
Jose Ramon Fadul, the Minister of the Interior and Police (MIP) of the Dominican Republic, said that until now 84,000 foreigners, who were registered in the National Plan of Regularization of Foreigners (PNRE) were regularized and received an authorization to stay in the Dominican territory.

He indicated that today are delivered 1,000 other identity documents to farm workers in the province of Valverde Mao an independent quantity of the one that continue to be deliver in the 25 departmental offices nationwide.

The Minister Fadul declared that 110,000 other cards are ready and waiting to be withdrawn by the beneficiary.

Regarding official deportation of all foreigners in irregular migratory situation, the Minister of the Interior and Police, said that the process continued normally and was realized in accordance with the migration policy of the Dominican Republic in compliance with international conventions.
