Haiti - Economy : Mexican Mission in Haiti

Thursday, a delegation of the National Entrepreneurship Institute of Mexico (INADEM) arrived in Port-au-Prince to officially initiate cooperation with Haiti to support micro, small and medium enterprises.

This follows a meeting of President Michel Martelly in May in Riviera Maya with the President of the INADEM in the presence of ministers of Finance Wilson Laleau and Trade Jude Hervé Day. Accompanied by the Ambassador of Haiti in Mexico, Guy Lamothe, the mission of the INADEM, that will allow those responsible for the institution to be informed of current needs of the sector in order to identify appropriate forms of collaboration. Working sessions are scheduled with senior officials of the Ministries of Finance and Commerce, universities and other Haitian institutions to promote and support entrepreneurship.
