On behalf of the President of the Republic, all members of the government and on his own behalf, the Head of Government issued a final tribute to General José Luiz Jabórandy Jr. died last Sunday of a heart attack "At his widow Liliane Maria Henriques Jabórandy, his bereaved family, to his parents, to the Secretary General of the UN, Ban Ki-moon and the Special Representative of the Secretary General here in Haiti, Sandra Honoré, to the Brazilian people, to friends of the deceased, and his staff, the Government and people of Haiti through his body, sends you their deepest condolences and ask you to arm yourself with a lot of courage, stoicism to cross this nightmare. Death is a dimension of human existence to which we never get used."
