Haiti - Politic : New Brazilian Ambassador to Haiti
On Friday, the President of the Republic of Haiti, Michel Martelly received the credentials of the new Ambassador of Brazil accredited to Haiti, Fernando Vidal de Mello.

The new Ambassador reiterated the commitment of his country to support the President Martelly in its efforts to improve the living conditions of the Haitian population.

For his part, the Head of State has reassured him on his willingness to work to strengthen the ties of friendship and cooperation between Haiti and Brazil.

Thereafter, the new Ambassador of the Federative Republic of Brazil in Haiti, made a floral offering to the Haitian National Pantheon Museum (MUPANAH) in honor of the Father of the Fatherland. Then, Michèle Frisch, the Director of the Museum invited the new Brazilian diplomat to visit the rooms of permanent and temporary exhibitions of the museum.

Following his visit, Ambassador Fernando Vidal expressed his satisfaction at having been able to discover the rich history of Haiti, a country so close to his.
