Haiti - Politic : In one week 395 Haitians officially expelled from Dajabón

The Dominican authorities began to multiply foreign control patrols in order to identify those in irregular migratory situation, after the period of "voluntary repatriation" that followed the end of the National Plan for the Regularization of Foreigners (PNRE), June 17 (+45 days).

From 1 to September 9, 2015, the immigration authorities and the Chancellery of the Dominican Republic formally expelled by Dajabón, a total of 395 illegal Haitian after being checked and arrested in different cities of the Cibao Central and Línea Noroeste .

Lieutenant Colonel Robinson Carbonell, Regional Director of Immigration based in this province, explained that Haitians were correctly processed and their irregular presence in the Dominican Republic, confirmed "The whole process of deportation of these peopletook place in compliance with the law and human rights." Furthermore, the Haitian Chancellor Lener Renauld confirmed that the Dominican authorities communicate to Haiti, the dates and the crossing points on the border of immigrants deported

Note that in August 220 of our compatriots were officially expelled. Although we are far from mass expulsions apprehended, it appears that the number of evictions increases gradually...
