Haiti - Diplomacy : New Ambassador of the European Union in Haiti
Tuesday, at the National Palace the President Michel Martelly, received the credentials of the new ambassador of the European Union in Haiti, Vincent Degert, who takes over from Javier Niño Pérez Ambassador, which ended his mission https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-14475-haiti-diplomacy-ambassador-javier-nino-perez-decorated-with-the-national-order.html

The new Ambassador reiterated the commitment of the European Union to accompany and support the Republic of Haiti by following up the various projects already running across the territory. Vincent Degert has also confided that he was eager to get to work to make its contribution to efforts to strengthen cooperation between the European Union and Haiti.

For his part, the Head of State has assured him of his will and the complete disposal of his administration to work to facilitate the materialization of objectives between the EU and his country and strengthen the ties of friendship and cooperation between Haiti and the European Union.

Thereafter the new Ambassador of the European Union in Haiti, made a floral offering to the Haitian National Pantheon Museum (MUPANAH) in honor of the Father of the Fatherland. Then Michèle Frisch, the Director of the Museum invited the new European diplomat to visit the permanent and temporary exhibitions of the museum.
