Haiti - FLASH : 3 road accidents in less than 24 hours

In less than 24 hours 3 road accidents have occurred inform the Civil Protection (DPC), the first last night, occurred in Puilboreau (Ennery / Artibonite), and made according to the latest information 8 dead and 4 injured , after a truck carrying cement and passengers had finished his race in a place hard to access for for ambulance and police sent to the site. The rescue operation had to be suspended because of access difficulties.
Then the National Road #1 was blocked that night at the level of Bedoret (Plaisance), a semi-trailer has missed a turn and remained leaning over the roadside, the DPC informs that there was no victim.
This morning a semi-trailer, carrying 4 people, struck a utility pole, a car and two trees, on National Road #3 at the level of Miragoâne (Nippes). The truck was trying to avoid a disabled truck just before the accident. Review of the accident : 4 injured, one seriously. The injured were rushed to hospital Ste-Thérèse for treatment.
