The CEP changes the electoral timetable
The Electoral Adviser, Marie Carmelle Paul Austin announced that the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) had made changes to the electoral timetable.

"There will be no 7 ballot boxes in polling stations on October 25 [...] We agreed for there is that day elections for presidential, legislative and municipal." However, in respect of the elections of the Board of Directors of Communal Sections (CASEC) of Administration of Communal Sections (ASEC) and city delegates, "they will be held December 27 at the same time as the second round of presidential [...] and, on October 25, there will be four ballot boxes instead of 7. A ballot box for president, another for the second round of Senate, a third for the second round of the deputation and last for municipal. It will be the same pattern in the constituencies where elections of 9 August were canceled."

15 candidates will debate front students
In conjunction with the Dean of the Institute of African Studies and Research of Haiti (IERAH / ISERSS), the Central Committee of students will host from September 29 to October 17, 2015, the Presidential fortnight, an activity that consists of a series of policy debates where 15 candidates for president will intervene to present and discuss their vision and their program with a public student (Steven Benoît, Steeve Kahwly, Maryse Narcisse, Jude Célestin, Jean-Henry Céant, Sauveur Pierre-Etienne, Moïse Jovenel, Clarens Renois, Aviol Fleurant, Eric Jean-Baptiste, Moïse Jean-Charles, Mathias Pierre, Samuel Madistin, Jean Poincy et Mario Andrésol). Wilson Laleau present the next budget to presidential candidates
Friday, twenty presidential candidates participated in a working meeting convened by Wilson Laleau, the Minister of Economy and Finance. Discussions focused on the outline of the 2015-2016 budget. The objective was to provide candidates with relevant data on the budget, so they can be able to present their political programs in the Nation according to the budget.
