Wednesday, during a press conference, the Directorate General of Taxes (DGI), the Office Vehicle Insurance Against Third (OAVCT) and Traffic Police (PNH), invited all motorcycle owners to be in good standing with state administration.

A period from 1 October to 30 November is granted. Thus the registration and insurance plates may be withdrawn in a single window, in all offices of the Departmental Directorates of Taxation, in provinces and at the level of taxes Centres (CDI) and local agencies Tax (ALI) in the metropolitan area. This call to order affects more than 300,000 motorcyclists, said the Road Safety Directorate.

About recent and numerous road accidents, the directorate of road safety assured the population than drastic control measures were already implemented to limit or avoid these tragedies. Among others the transport of more than one passenger by motorcyclists will be severely punished by PNH.
